I was chatting with my attorney recently. My soon-to-be-ex finally hired his own lawyer, and at long last, we can finally get our shit-show-of-a-divorce moving forward. The conversation with her was enlightening: his lawyer is completely confused about why I’m asking for what I’m asking for. He was told our divorce is amicable.
